Our Wedding

From Layover to Forever

People often say, “If it’s meant to be, it’ll be.” Perhaps they’re right. Sometimes, though, fate simply asks for a little more time. Long before they became each other’s home—before the late-night phone calls, airport reunions, and promises of forever—Eiya and Aaron had already crossed paths once. It was the summer of 2019. As a flight attendant, Eiya was in Los Angeles on a layover when she met Aaron through her cousin, Tiffy. They shared a meal, a few conversations, and then went their separate ways. To Eiya, it was simply another pleasant memory. For Aaron, however, it was different. He developed a crush on Eiya. Over the years, Aaron's best friend, James would often tell Aaron, "You and Eiya would be perfect together." It always felt like wishful thinking. Five years later, in 2024, Eiya’s family returned to the United States for a vacation. Tiffy and her partner, James brought them together once again—this time over a simple board game night. During the night, Aaron could barely find the courage to speak to Eiya. As the days passed, he finally worked up the courage to send her a message. What started as a few simple texts quickly became the highlight of each other's day. Those daily messages turned into long FaceTime calls that stretched late into the night. Before long, Aaron found the courage once again—this time to ask Eiya out on their very first date. Before giving her answer, Eiya consulted the family sibling group chat. As expected, Kuya Wenci immediately transformed into a full-fledged investigator, while Kiana simply said, “You’re old enough. Go for it.” After surviving the sibling approval process, Aaron finally received his answer. Yes. Throughout 2025, Los Angeles became more than another stop on Eiya’s flight schedule. Between airport reunions, FaceTime calls, and countless hellos and goodbyes, they quietly fell in love. By November, Aaron knew there was no reason to wait. Before asking the most important question of his life, he first sought Eiya’s family’s blessing. Then he asked her to spend forever with him. She said yes. One of their favorite details about their story is that the day Aaron proposed became the very same date they would later choose to say, “I do.” Looking back, it’s almost impossible not to smile at how everything unfolded. A chance lunch. Five years apart. A board game night. A cousin and best friend who saw something before they did. Airport reunions. One brave question. And a love that arrived exactly when it was meant to. Surrounded by the people who have loved, supported, and believed in them every step of the way, Eiya and Aaron begin their greatest adventure yet. Thank you for being part of their story. NOTE: If you're coming from CALAX, the route may force you to make a U-Turn towards Laguna Blvd. There is no U-Turn. Instead, turn left underneath the bridge. Head straight until you reach the roundabout to go back to underneath the bridge again. Then turn right towards Laguna Blvd. Proceed straight then turn left towards Narra road. The Church should be visible once you enter Narra road.

Note: Guests are kindly requested to be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Note: Travel time between ceremony and reception venue is about 15-20 minutes. Guests are kindly advised to pin the venue on Waze or Google Maps and follow the shortest suggested route for the most convenient travel option.
